The goal of this project is to help students and researchers familiarize themselves with Grid computing.

The Grid will be built using clusters provided by hepia and other organizations. This distributed and heterogeneous Grid infrastructure will be used for research, education and application development.

Different types of HPC applications (fluid dynamics simulation, human migration simulation, image search and textual analysis) are expected to be deployed on that Grid infrastructure, as well as demonstrations, lab assignments and lectures.
