The Swiss Academic Compute Cloud (SwissACC) aims to establish a Swiss-wide e-science platform composed of resources and services of various types and from different organizations, fostering the exchange of know-how between users and providing high-quality application support. SwissACC spans over 10 AAA/SWITCH projects.

The 14 SwissACC partners have two main objectives: (i) to preserve the research communities of the former AAA/SWITCH Grid projects, and (ii) increase the number of users across Switzerland.

The project focuses on consolidating the services and simplifying the procedures to support Swiss communities. Its main goal is to free researchers from complex computational aspects and thereby help them to focus on their core research work.
